It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Kay Killian of Ramer, Tennessee, born in Ventura, California, who passed away on October 5, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlton Eugene Smith and Josephine Alberta Flynn Smith; and her siblings, Nita May Thornton, John F. Smith (Leigh) and Ronald Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Belinda Brooks (Wayne) of Ramer, TN, Tracey Leigh Bruce (Shannon) of Raleigh, MS and Lavelle Dean Westbrooks (Kay) of Taylorsville, MS; her siblings, Deloris Ann Ross (C. W.) of Springfield, OR and William Rogers of Sylvarena, MS; and her siblings-in-law, Virginia Smith of Muskogee, OK and Billy Thornton of Amarillo, TX. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 17 nephews and nieces.
