He is survived by: his wife Ann Petty of Ramer, TN; his brother David Petty (Gail) of Ramer, TN; his grandchildren, Delta Irwin, Jessica Durkee, Justin Koon, Skylar Koon and Cameron Koon; his great grandchildren, Joseph Koon, Brayden Irwin, Tyler Irwin, Jaxon Irwin, Reed Barton, Brooks Durkee, Toby Koon and Allison Koon; his niece Olivia Hutcheson (Joshua) of Clarksville, TN; and his nephew Bryan Petty (Brandi) of Ramer, TN. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.

Memorials may be made to Holly Baptist Church, Gravel Hill Baptist Church, or Chewalla Baptist Church.
