He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and B. Whitten Foster; his former wife Faye C. Foster; and his siblings, Joyce Whitehead, Quinn Congiardo, Ernest Leon and Gene Foster.
He is survived by: his wife Dale Foster; his siblings, Von Foster (Ruby), John Foster (Sheilla), Patsy McCormick (J. D.), Kathy Poole (Walter), Lola Mae Ada (Wayne) and Lisa Sheaffer (Brad); and his stepchildren, Angie Whitten (Barry), Paula McAfee (Scott) and Eddie Rowsey (Anita). He is also survived by step grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
