She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Lee Dodson; her parents, Plumer Dodson and Zella Dodson; and her siblings, Jim Dodson and Helen Bennett.
She is survived by: her brother Bill Dodson (MaryLinda); her children, Rita Dodson, Mike Dodson (Kathy) and Lisa McBride (Michael); her grandchildren, Lorie Robbins (Arthur), Debbie Turner (Stacy), Ashley Humphrey, Micha Simmons (Bryan), Aaron McBride (Amy), Matthew McBride, Sarah McBride and Caleb McBride; her great grandchildren, Carlie Robbins, McKinzi Turner, Ethan Turner, Addie Humphrey, Silas Simmons, Josie Simmons, Brittney Carpenter, Billy Carpenter (Taitum) and Audrey Colwell; and her great great grandchildren, Westen O'Connor, Karson Austin, Karter Austin and Aiden Tripp. She is also survived by friends, sewing for her children.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society and encourage everyone to treasure each day with your loved ones.
