He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Bucy and Kennie Mae Sykes Bucy; and his siblings, Shirley York, Bobbie Brown, Len, Leon, Milton, Billy and James Bucy.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Ross Bucy; his children, Leigh Ann Wade of Paris, TN, Jeff Bucy (Cricket) of Paris, TN and Chris Bucy of Paris, TN; his granddaughters, Bella Bucy and Ava Bucy; and his friend Sam Conger. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
