He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Zuckschwerdt and Gracie Wade Zuckschwerdt; his sons, Larry Adam Kemppainen and Justin Kemppainen; his sisters, Gloria Shumaker, Deloris Williams, Teresa Newell and Dorothy Christine Zuckschwerdt; his son-in-law Todd McKinney; his brother-in-law Jackie Williams; and his pet Willow.
He is survived by: his children, Stacy Kemppainen of Puryear, Mandy Kemppainen (James Cathers) of Puryear, Megan Catt (James) of Puryear, Susan Witt (Robbie) of Paris, Wayne Kemppainen of Puryear, Jesse Kemppainen of Puryear and Tommy (Morgan Hulett) of Paris; his siblings, Ruth Phillips (Randy) of Jackson, TN, Kathy Crouch of Murray, KY, William Zuckschwerdt of Paris, Jimmie Zuckschwerdt of Hazel Green, AL, Jerry Zuckschwerdt and Danny Zuckschwerdt (Stephanie) of Puryear; his grandchildren, Steven, Bella, Skylir, Lilly, Jamie, Sydney, Anthony, Rhianna, Silas and Novie; his great grandchildren, Ace and Avery; and his caregiver Paige Harris. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
