James Kirby Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Kirby (Puryear, Tennessee), born in Brookport, Illinois, who passed away on May 16, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Kirby and Lee Helen Davis; his former wife Shirley Elfredia Kirby; his stepchildren, Linda Faye Johnson, Ricky Dale Johnson and Danny Eugene Johnson; and his grandsons, Robert Harley Davidson and James Clyde Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kennedy Kirby; his children, Darlene Thompson (Bill) of Apopka, FL, Patti Murphy (Pat) of Ocala, FL, Johnny Kirby (Diane) of Apopka, FL and Nichole Shields (Mark) of Apopka, FL; his stepson Timmy Johnson of Monette, AR; and his brother Ronnie Kirby (Louise) of Poplar Bluff. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grand children and several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a celebration of life will be held at the Lighthouse Ministries Church later at a to be determined date.
