She was predeceased by: her parents, Ollie Hughes and Ena Gibbons Hughes; and her brother Norman Hughes. She is survived by: her husband Earl Matheny; her sons, Steven Matheny of Puryear, TN, Timothy Matheny (Gala) of Paris, TN and John Matheny (Angie) of Murray, KY; and her sister Jo Ann Harp of Tupelo, MS. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
