With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Rainey (Puryear, Tennessee), born in Cottage Grove, Tennessee, who passed away on May 10, 2019 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Frank Rainey; and her siblings, Louise Holley, Estelle Holley Morris, Wade Holley, Julian "Bob" Holley, Harold Poyner Holley and Gerald Holley.
She is survived by: her close friends, Dan Paschall and Charles Paschall; her son Joe Taylor Rainey (Rita) of Puryear, TN; her granddaughters, Gina Harrell of Nashville, TN and Greta Donat (Brad) of Franklin, TN; and her close friends, Ann Buie and Sue Ann Jorrey. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
