We bid farewell to William Richard Ellett of Pulaski, Tennessee, born in Durham, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 11, 2025 at the age of 82. William Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aurthur Curtis and Marion Livingston Ellett; his brother Chris Ellett; and his daughter Barbara Ellett. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ellett of Pulaski, TN; his children, William Michael Ellett (Sandra Leigh) of Goodspring, TN and Cheryl Lynn Slycord (Chad) of Columbia, TN.; and his grandchildren, William Ellett, Jr. (Yami), Stephanie Garner (Forrest), Matthew Moulden, Jonthan Moulden and Caitlin Karlson (Chip).
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory (1910 Elkton Pike, Pulaski, TN 38478). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory (1910 Elkton Pike, Pulaski, TN 38478).
In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorial donations to be made to First United Methodist Church-Pulaski Youth and Children Ministry.
