He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wilson and Lila Lee Birdsong Holt; and his sister Ann Holt Martin. He is survived by: his wife Dixie Holt of Pulaski; his daughter Kim Holt (Bud Bolton) of Pulaski; his sister Peggy Holt of Pulaski; his grandchildren, Jessie Adams and Emily Corum; and his great grandchildren, Kylie Ann Adams and Hendrix James Corum.
