He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Denton and Vivian Gordon Denton; his wife Maudie Pratt Denton; and his children-in-law, Patricia Denton and Mike Parsley.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn Denton of Lebanon, Betty Guthrie (Tom) of Pulaski and Belinda Garner (Steve) of Pulaski; and his grandchildren, Sherian Baird (Jason), Jason Guthrie (Tonya), Angela Messer (Barry), Amy Eslick (Bubba), Alicia Davis (Jimmy) and Janet Davidson (Woody). He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren; his special friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Carr and Erwin Funeral Home (1228 E College St, Pulaski, TN 38478). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
