He was predeceased by: his father Hollis Adams; and his sister Pam Davis. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Jean Hargrove Adams of Anderson, AL; his son Alan Adams of Pulaski; his siblings, Jeffery Adams (Janice) of Anderson, AL, James Roger Adams (Lisa) of Goodspring, Tammie Clemmons (Greg) of Lynnville and Belinda Perry (Derrick) of Goodspring; and his pet Spanky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
