He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Barnett and Lena Jo Barnett; and his sister Edith Merritt. He is survived by: his wife Martha Barnett of Pulaski, TN; his children, Leigh Ann Peterson (Nathan) of Pulaski, TN and Jason Barnett (Messina) of Pulaski, TN; his grandsons, Riley and Ethan Peterson; his sister Mary Jane Hardin (Roger) of Athens, AL; and his nieces and nephews, Mary Love, Shelly Hardin, Micheal Merritt, David Merritt Bennett-May, Crematory and Tommie Barnett.
In Lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
