With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sarah Helen Lamar of Pulaski, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 16, 2025 at the age of 96. She was predeceased by: her husband Odis Milton Lamar; her parents, Fred Howell and Sarah Hood Howell; her stepmother Grace Howell; and her son Thomas Lamar.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Holly of Pulaski, TN, James Lamar (Beth) of Wartrace, TN and Rickie Lamar of Pulaski, TN; her daughter-in-law Judy Lamar of Pulaski, TN; and her grandchildren, Tommy Lamar (Elisha), Tiffany Kimbrough (Joey), Lisa McClellan, Glenn Holly (Rainey), Carl Holly (Amanda), Jamie Lamar (Caroline), Ryann Hrouda (Scott), Kelly Whitt (Gary), Christie Bass and Amber Evans (Donnie). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory (1910 Elkton Pike, Pulaski, TN 38478). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the May & Pierce Funeral Home and Crematory (1910 Elkton Pike, Pulaski, TN 38478).
