He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Houston Kimbrough Sr. and Edna Mae Ashford Kimbrough; his son James Ronald "Jim" Kimbrough; and his brother John Robert "Johnny" Kimbrough (Sandy) of Pulaski. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Worsham Kimbrough of Pulaski; his daughter Michelle Leigh Shelton (Anthony) of Liberty Hill; his daughter-in-law Kristi Kimbrough of Pulaski; his siblings, Otis Kimbrough Jr. (June) of Prospect, Danny Thomas Kimbrough (Renetta) of Pulaski, Ann Chapman of Tullahoma, Margaret McCoy (Chuck) of Florida, Yvonne Steele of Lynnville and Cindy Kimbrough of Pulaski; his sister-in-law Barbara Kimbrough; his grandchildren, Josie Madison Kimbrough of Pulaski, Derek Shelton (Amelia) of Ethridge and Danielle Cornelius (Justin) of Lawrenceburg; and his great grandchildren, Emmitt Oscar Shelton, Everett Crews Shelton and Vivian Jean Cornelius.
