He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Conrad H. Dawson; his son Dean Dawson; his brothers, Conrad "Bud Dawson and Gallion "Jeep" Dawson (Connie Dawson); his wife Brenda Dawson of Pulaski; his sons, Dale Dawson of Lewisburg and David Dawson of Utah; his stepsons, Thomas Kees (Kristy) of Ardmore and Terry Hicks (Samantha) of Pulaski; his daughters, Dawn Dawson of Spring Hill, Darla Jones of Lewisburg and Danette Lane of Virginia; his stepdaughter Melissa Hutton (Larry Dial); and his grandchildren, Cody Hicks (Katie), Lella Nicole Hutton, Jeremy Helton, Chis Hutton, Gracie Davis, Dory Hicks and Matthew Hicks.
