He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dunnavant and Maybell Dunnavant; his parents-in-law, Jessie and Jurann Barnett; and his sisters, Martha Davis and Janice Garner.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Dunnavant of Pulaski; his children, Robert D. Dunnavant Jr. (Christy) of Pulaski and Susan Buie (Mark) of Lawrenceburg; his grandchildren, Trea Dunnavant (Hannah) of Lawrenceburg, Chelsea Ellis (Tyler) of Lawrenceburg, Zach Dunnavant (Taylor) of Minor Hill, Peyton Buie (Faith Sherrow) of Lawrenceburg and Eli Buie of Lawrenceburg; and his great grandchild Jackson Ellis of Lawrenceburg. He is also survived by several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
