She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husbands, Boyd Thompson and Boots Shelton; her parents, William Curn and Ethel Fudge Stovall; her stepsons, Thomas Shelton and Robert Shelton; her siblings, Tom Stovall, William Stovall, Estelle Marks, Emma Lee Taylor, Elise Poole and Lauraine Carvell; her children-in-law, James T. Howell, David M. Rose and Joyce Shelton; her grandsons, David Rose, Jr. and Kirk Shelton; and her stepdaughter Mary Jane Howell. She was also cherished by 8 step-grandchildren and 10 step great-grandchildren.
