She was predeceased by: her parents, Monroe Adams and Ella Mae Sweeney Adams; and her siblings, Jack Adams, Fronie South, Elizabeth Adams and James Edward Adams of Columbia.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Hobby; her children, Ricky Hobby (Jennifer) of Columbia, James Hobby (Kendra) of Pulaski, Monroe Hobby of Pulaski and Ella Marie "Sissy" Collier (Mike) of Columbia; and her grandchildren, Polly Hobby, Wayne, James, Janie Hobby, Hunter, Faith Thomas, Mitchell, Lee Collier, Cindy Deloit (Johnny), Harley and Trinity Pruett. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
