Thornton (Pulaski, Tennessee), born in Athens, Alabama, who passed away on May 15, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ransom and Lillie Mae Breeding Thornton; her sister Bettie Sue Thornton; and her siblings-in-law, L. E. Thornton and Cecil Watts.

She is survived by: her siblings, James William Thornton of Lester, AL, Charles Everett Thornton (Mable), Minor Hill, Archie Dean Thornton (Merline) of Athens, AL, William Franklin Thornton (Janice) of Ardmore, AL, Jimmy Lee Thornton (Geneva), Joe Wiley Thornton (Shirley) of Minor Hill, TN and Margie Ann Watts.
