She was predeceased by: her parents, Irmer Boyd and Beulah Boyd (John M. "Buddy"); and her sisters, Martha Rene Boyd Hannah, Ena B Boyd, Mildred Boyd and Mary Elizabeth Pollett.
She is survived by: her children, Tom Merritt (Susan) of Pulaski, TN, Judy C. Merritt of Lynchburg, TN and John Michael Merritt (Delane) of Pulaski, TN. She is also survived by 9 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
