He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Clayburn and Inez Page Cox. He is survived by: his wife Paula Dunnavant Cox of Pulaski; his children, Chance Cox of Tampa, FL, Rafe Cox (Teddy) of St. Petersburg, FL, Brandy Dalton (Jimmy) of Mt. Juliet, TN and Carey Jackson (Bryant) of Chattanooga, TN; his brother Bobby Cox (Kay) of Kingston, TN; his grandchildren, Mitchell, Landon, Holden Dalton, Jayden and McKaylah Cox; his great grandchildren, Kaiden and Audrey Dalton; his pets, Bella and Dude; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Watkins, Mary Dunnavant, Rosie Dunnavant, Randal Dunnavant (Nancy) and Ray Dunnavant (Sherry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
