He was predeceased by: his parents, E. L. Johnson and Viva Lee Pickett Johnson; and his parents-in-law, Mack and Ethel Lanier Owen. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Owen Johnson; his son J. J. Johnson (Michelle) of Lawrenceburg; his sister Mary Ann Beddingfield (Don) of Pulaski; his grandson Ty Johnson (Josie); his stepgrandson Austin Brown (Christie); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Garrett Brown and Presleigh Brown; his siblings-in-law, Faye Harris (Charlie), Glenda Mohundro, Billy Owen (Brenda), Ronnie Owen and Ty's; and also, Stacy and Tori. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
