He is survived by: his wife Shirley Tankersley of Pulaski; his children, Kent Tankersley (Angie) of Pulaski, Tammy Pollard (Tommy) of Pulaski and Nita Tankersley of Pulaski; and his siblings, Eugene Tankersley (Peggy) of Nashville, Joe Tankersley (Deborah) of Elkton and Helen Morris (Charles) of Pulaski. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
