He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Wilson; his parents, Jesse Raleigh and Sibyl Shearer Wilson; and his brother Jerry Shearer Wilson (Dixie). He is survived by: his children, Mark Wilson (Liza) of Arizona, David Wilson (Jennifer) of Lynnville and Gail Bowles (John) of Pulaski; his sister Rebecca Lee Alford (John) of Florida; his grandchildren, Shelby Pewitt (Trey) of Columbia, Landon Wilson of Lynnville, Chaiya Wimber (Dylan) of Utah, Maliea Wilson, Quayde Wilson, Calahen and Alex Bowles of Pulaski; and his close friend Chris Jessop of Pulaski. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, J.R. had requested that donations be made to their favorite veteran support charities, such as the Wounded Warrior Project and/or Disabled Veterans.
