He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Lee and Lauraine Stovall Scott; his wife Linda Scott; his son Greg Scott; and his sisters, Jean Norwood and Marthell Prindle.

He is survived by: his daughter Kristy Williams (Dean) of Goodspring; his sister Julia Norwood of Pulaski; his grandchildren, Sage Gibson (Whitt) and Corey Hambrick; and his great grandchild Emyrson Gibson (Travis Hambrick). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.
