He was predeceased by: his parents, George Farrow Preston and Vina Jennings Preston; and his siblings, Fred Preston, Ricky Preston and Celia Preston.
He is survived by: his wife Melissa Golden Preston of Pulaski; his daughters, Laura Spillman (Steve) of Marysville, OH and Crystal Johnson of Inez, KY; his stepsons, Richard Pinckley of Bonaire, GA and James Pinckley of Ardmore, AL; his siblings, Danny Preston (Sharon) of Titusville, FL, James Preston (Karen) of Louisa, KY, Charlotte McIntosh (Paul) of Radcliff, KY, Judy Petzo (Dave) of Groveport, OH, Betty Blair of Nicholasville, KY and Willa May (Freddie) of Louisa, KY; his grandchildren, Sallie, Mollie, Hunter Spillman, Kylie, Ashleyanna and Kinsley Stafford; and his great grandchild Corbiet Jones.
