He is survived by: his children, Susan Hickman (Dennis) of Lynnville and David McGavock of Lewisburg; his sister Martha Gale Russell of Pulaski; his grandchildren, Mary Taylor Hewitt and Tyler Hickman; and his great grandchildren, Clavie Hewitt and Cohen Hickman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
