He was predeceased by: his parents, Esker Leamon and Ada Lucy Freeman Mitchell; and his siblings, David Mitchell, Jerry Lane Mitchell and Mary Mitchell.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Mitchell of Pulaski; his sons, Charles Mitchell (Mandy) of Chapel Hill, Wesley Mitchell of Pulaski and Jeremy Mitchell (Sunny) of Pulaski; his grandchildren, Vanessa Mitchell, Austin Mitchell, Cash Mitchell, Parker Wales, Jagger Mitchell, Abbi Mitchell, Lillian Mitchell, Taylor Mitchell and Kacie Mitchell; and his siblings, Michael Mitchell (Annette) of Delrose and Sandra Bledsoe (Gary) of Pulaski Brenda. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
