She was predeceased by: her parents, Cal C. Willingham and Roberta Smith. She is survived by: her siblings, Lind Whitworth (Jimmie) and William Edward Smith; her husband Tommie Leonard; her daughters, Erica Hillius (Don) and Gabrielle Franklin (Anthony); her grandchildren, Deryan Ballentine, D'Andre Dye, Chardanaie Dye and Aden Dye; her sisters, Anna Henderson (Melvin), Stella Beets, Joyce Ballentine (Danny) and Wandann Smith; her niece Keisha Gordon (Nate); her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Benson (Rome), Alma Jeans Leonard (Henry) and Dorcey Leonard (Dean); her daughter-in-law Shontae Freeman; and her close friend Louise Mason. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and countless friends.
