She was predeceased by: her parents, Parmenas Cox and Lounette Jackson Cox; and her brother-in-law Roger D. Fish. She is survived by: her husband Matthew Clifton Morrison; her son Matt; her daughter-in-law Jan Morrison; her grandsons, John and Cole Morrison; her siblings, Lydia Lee Cox and James T. "Jimmy" Cox (Donna); her nephews, JB (Nancy) and Lyman Cox (Kim); her niece Suzanne Thigpen (Tate); her great-nephew Ben Cox; and her great-nieces, Julia, Savannah, Jordan Cox and Kathleen Thigpen. She is also survived by family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Hillsboro Church of Christ (5800 Hillsboro Pike, Forest Hills, TN 37215). A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
