He was predeceased by: his parents, Mahlon Higgins and Claire Belle Kerr Higgins; and his brother Wendell Higgins. He is survived by: his sisters, Sharon Foster of Pulaski and Diane Pierce of Pulaski. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Campbellsville Library or to the Rose Hill Cemetery Fund.
