He was predeceased by: his parents, James Peden Parker, Jr. and Mary Lee Hyatt Parker; and his wife Rita Anne Zimmerman Parker. He is survived by: his daughter Alana Scruggs (Randy) of New Port Richey, Florida.; his grandchildren, Parker Scruggs, John Carter Scruggs, Buchanan Farnam and Birdie Farnam; and his friend Judy Mayfield.
