He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest P. Phillips and Carol Donnie Poarch Phillips; his sons, Thomas Fagon Phillips and Steven Paul Phillips; his grandsons, Jackie Rayford Holcomb, Jr. and David Russell Phillips; and his siblings, Myrtle Tucker, Walter Phillips, Grace Appleton, William Phillips, Edward Phillips, Mabelean Scott, Mattie Gatlin, Aaron Phillips, Louie Phillips and Floyd Phillips.
He is survived by: his wife Willie Mae Phillips of Prospect, TN; his children, Janie Holcomb (Jackie) of Prospect, TN, Vickie Phillips of Pulaski, TN, Patty Hickman (Buddy) of Goodspring, TN and Kenny Phillips (Laura) of Prospect, TN; and his daughter-in-law Jill Young Phillips of Paragon, IN. He is also survived by 16 Grandsons 3 Granddaughters 29 Great grandchildren.
