She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Pressnell and Mildred Pressnell; her husband David King; her mother-in-law Mable King; her brothers-in-law, C. B. King, Rickey King, Lee King, Bobby Solomon and Louis Wales; and her grandparents, Atha Franklin and Nettie Franklin.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie McNatt (Rhett) and Jim King; her siblings, Wade Pressnell (Donna), Ronnie Pressnell (Shirley), Anthony Pressnell (Tara), Judy Pylant, Polly Pylant (Jerry), Wanda Solomon and Sherry Wales; and her grandchildren, Eden McNatt, George McNatt and David McNatt.
