She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Otto Layne and Pearl Jean Henson Layne; and her sister Ruth Layne Jefferson. She is survived by: her husband John Cochran of Primm Springs; her children, Karla Harber (Tommy) of Chapel Hill and Greg Cochran (Michelle) of Primm Springs; her grandchildren, Jonathon Harber (Braylin), Brandon Harber, Garrett Cochran and Daveigh Cochran; her stepsister Faye Fowler; and her sisters-in-law, Henrietta Ward (Van) and Linda Cochran. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
