He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Forrester and William Forrester; and his siblings, Delores Ogle and Michael Forrester. He is survived by: his wife Linda G. Forrester; his son William Forrester, III; his grandchildren, Maggie Lauren and Hayden Thomas Forrester; and his father-in-law D. R. Gilbert.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested contributions be made to the Wallace Memorial Baptist Church or Shriners Hospital for Children.
