He is survived by: his wife Norma Joan Myers; his children, Theresa Rimmer (Terry) and Verlin Craig Myers; his daughter-in-law Christine White Myers; his sister Delores Smith (George); and his grandchildren, Drew Abner (Jessica), Devin Abner, Luke Abner, Megan Moore (Justin) and Hite Myers. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in memory of Verlin to the St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN.
