It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma (Chris) Johnson of Powell, Tennessee, who passed away on March 6, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Evelyn Longsworth; and her sister Gladys Saylor. She is survived by: her husband Herbie Johnson; her children, Angela, Gordon Williams of Norris, Herbie Johnson III of Chattanooga and Traci Ingram of Powell; her adoptive son David Peters of Nashville; her daughter-in-law Mallorie Johnson Rector of Cookeville; her grandchildren, Tristan, Tiffany Johnson, Schyler, Dr. Haley Johnson, Elizabeth Williams, Joseph Carpenter, Brogan, Josh Boles, Alex and Rebecca Ingram; and her great grandchildren, Taryn Johnson, Knox Boles, Finn Johnson, Liza Boles and Baby Ingram.
