He was predeceased by: his parents, Flavil Bottoms and Gardie Bottoms; his stepmother Veora Bottoms; and his siblings, William Bottoms and Joy Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Dorsey Bottoms; his children, Rebecca Bottoms of Powell and Robert Bottoms (April); his grandchildren, Conner, Alex, Spencer and Cooper Bottoms of Chattanooga; and his sister Margaret Coker of Birmingham. He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powell Chapel (2000 Powell Drive 37849). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Greenwood Cemetery (3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918).
