Norma Joan Myers Obituary
The memory of Norma Joan Myers of Powell, Tennessee, who passed away on September 22, 2024 at the age of 81, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husband Verlin Bruce Myers. She is survived by: her children, Theresa Rimmer (Terry) and Verlin Craig Myers; her daughter-in-law Christine White Myers; her grandchildren, Drew Abner (Jessica), Devin Abner, Luke Abner, Megan Moore (Justin) and Hite Myers; and also, Ginger, Debra, Jenny and Lisa. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens (3176 Airport Hwy, Alcoa, TN 37701). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in honor of Joan to the St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN.
