She is survived by: her children, Nellie Davis, Salley (Doyle Kitts), Linda (Terry Bray) and Melvin (Donna Griffin); her daughter-in-law Joan Griffin; and her sister June Gelwicks of Hagerstown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She told me of her many experiences growing up and working hard for everything she had. She never said life was easy, but she enjoyed living. What a joy and honor it was to know her.
