Though Mattie Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mattie Joyce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her former husband George Owens; her daughter Robin "Micky" Ollis; her grandson Jeremy Mullins; and her siblings, Ernestine Mottern and Cecil Hale.

She is survived by: her husband Larry Fox; her children, Kristi Fowler and Randy Owens; and her sister-in-law JoAnn Hale. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the Lynnhurst Cemetery (2300 Adair Dr, Knoxville, TN 37918).
