We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Lisa M Lackey (Powell, Tennessee), born in Grundy, Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lisa may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She is survived by: her parents, Johnny Boyd and Darlene Boyd of Abingdon, VA; her brother Anthony Boyd of Winter Park, FL.; her children, Haley Alexis Scarbrough, Scout Emory Scarbrough, Riley Edward Scarbrough and Knoxville; and her nieces, Abby Boyd and Kennedy Bell.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powell Chapel (2000 Powell Drive 37849). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, we ask for donations to be made to the Science Department at Northwest Middle School in honor of Lisa Michelle Lackey.
