It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Walker Fersner of Powell, Tennessee, who passed away on January 18, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Fersner and Pearl Fersner; his son Mark Alan Fersner; and his grandson Harry Walker Fersner, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Harry (Maria), Darryl (Jill), Cheryl Thomas and Marla Hines (Shawn); his great grandchildren, Hannah, Hadlee, Caylee, Nevaeh, Halen, Stephanie (Steven), Ayden, Emmett, Bailey, Lauren (Ben), Brayden, Daniel (Mayra), Dashel, Jody and Brent; his brother Harry H. Fersner; his sisters-in-law, Pam Coleman (Tom) and Jayne Henson; and his father-in-law Bill Henson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powell Chapel (2000 Powell Drive 37849). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodhaven Memorial Gardens (160 Edgemoor Rd, Powell, TN 37849).
