He was predeceased by: his mother Vicki Dalla of California. He is survived by: his father Michael Root (Paula) of Seymour; his brothers, David Root of California and Brett Root of Knoxville, TN; and his grandparents, Miriam Root and Stephen Root of Knoxville, TN..
