He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Stooksbury and Helen Stooksbury; and his sister Judy Franse. He is survived by: his children, Alyssa Bean and Blake Stooksbury; his grandchildren, Rowan and Ruby Stooksbury; and his brothers, Billy Stooksbury, Larry Stooksbury (Cathey), Rex Stooksbury (Sue), George Stooksbury (Cindy) and Mike Stooksbury (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bridges Funeral Home (5430 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924). A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 9:45 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Lynch-Bethel Cemetery.
