He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Giffin and Mary Hitch; and his brother Bob Hitch. He is survived by: his wife Gail Giffin; his daughters, Nancy Grinder (Gary), Kristi Martin (Darryl) and Terese Schoonbee (Johan); his grandchildren, Will, Sarah, Ryan, Chase, Taylor, Ben, Neels and Janie; and his siblings, Thomas Hitch, Sam Hitch and Susann Thadani.
