He is survived by: his wife Wilma Jean Owens; his caregivers, Cindy Houston, Carolyn Ridenour and Clifford; his parents, Jess Owens and Lydia Ayers Owens; his sons, Allen Owens (Pam) and Tom Owens (Leigh); his grandchildren, Linda Jones, Lydia Stewart, Allison Colvin and Logan Owens; his great grandchildren, Ariel Jones and Lily Colvin; and also, Allen, Tom Owens, Joyce Baker and Lydia Stewart.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mynatt Funeral Home-Powell Chapel (2000 Powell Drive 37849). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 12:45 PM at the Sherwood Chapel & Memorial Gardens (3176 Airport Hwy, Alcoa, TN 37701).
